If you’ve got one bio link and about 27 things you want people to click, welcome to the club. I use Hopp by Wix for Smoogles Design because it’s a more visual alternative to Linktree and it can connect with Wix apps, so parts of your page can update when you publish new stuff. It’s simple, it looks decent, and it helps turn followers into actual clicks.
Quick content brief
Goal: create a custom link in bio page that looks on-brand, promotes your best stuff, and keeps your online presence tidy across social media.
Best for: creators, content creators, businesses, fashion bloggers, anyone using Instagram as their main “shop window”.
You’ll build: a Hopp page with links, a YouTube card, a blog card that can update, plus a clean CTA.

Watch the tutorial
Prefer watching instead of reading? Here’s the full walkthrough where I set up a Hopp link in bio page and show you what it can do.
Tip: watch the first minute to see what a finished page looks like, then follow the steps below as you build yours. PS: Hopp got a nice update since this video was recorded.
What is Hopp by Wix and why bother?
Hopp is Wix’s link in bio tool. You create one page, drop the link into your Instagram bio (or anywhere else), and it becomes your little “everything hub”. The big win is it’s more visual than a plain list of buttons, and it can plug into Wix features so you can show things like your latest content without constantly rebuilding the page.
If your online presence is spread across a website, a couple of landing pages, a booking link and a YouTube channel, Hopp keeps it all in one place.
Turning followers into clicks
Your followers are already interested, they just need a clear next step. The easiest way to help them is to give them one link with a handful of obvious actions, not a long list that looks like a restaurant menu written by a confused squirrel.
A good link in bio page usually has:
one main action at the top (book, enquire, buy, subscribe)
3 to 6 supporting links
one piece of proof (video, reviews, portfolio)
one simple contact option
Set up Hopp in Wix (step by step)
You can set this up in a few minutes.
Step 1: Open Hopp
In your Wix dashboard, scroll to Site & Mobile App, then click Hopp - Link in Bio to open the editor.

Step 2: Pick a design and apply it
Go to Design first. You’ll see different layouts. Some are free, some are part of a hopp plan. If you’re just starting, the free option is absolutely fine, and you can upgrade later if you want the premium layouts or extras. Many tools push a free trial too, so if you see one, use it to test the premium bits without committing.

Step 3: Add your blocks (links, buttons, cards)
Go to Blocks and add the key bits you want people to click. Keep it tight. This is where you add your services, social links, and anything else you want to promote.

Step 4: Add a YouTube card
In the editor, choose the YouTube option, paste your URL, and display it as a card. This is a brilliant “trust builder” because people can hear you and see you, which helps.

Step 5: Add an auto-updating blog card
If you want your latest post to show automatically, add a Blog action and select “latest blog” so it pulls through a preview card. This is perfect for a tips series because you publish a new post, and your bio page stays fresh.
Note: This is from your Wix Site, there is also an option for Pro users to add a blog separate to your Wix site.

This is where most link in bio pages fall over. A few quick wins:
Swap the default images for your own.
Match your colours so your hopp branding feels consistent with your site.
Keep one main CTA button style, not five different ones.
Use a clear profile image or background video, but make sure text is readable.
If you’re adding a customizable link or custom wording, keep it simple and clear. The job is to guide clicks, not win a poetry contest.
Publish, share, and make it easy to click
Once you’re happy, hit Publish and copy the link. Add it to Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, plus anywhere else you have a profile.
If you want it cleaner, use short links so the link looks tidy when shared in posts or on Facebook. If you’re serious about tracking, you can also use UTM tags, but even without them, a short clean link is easier for people to trust and tap.
Also worth thinking about:
your domain consistency: try to keep the same naming style across your Wix site, your Hopp page, and your social handles
if you can connect it to your own domain or branded link later, great, but it’s optional
if someone finds the page via a search engine, a clear title and clean structure still helps

Optional ideas if you monetise
If you’re a creator selling products or recommending tools, you can include:
a section for affiliate links (keep it transparent, nobody likes surprises)
a “start here” block for new visitors
a simple subscribe button so people become leads, not just likes
This is why Hopp works as one of those bio solutions that actually does something useful.
FAQs
Is Hopp by Wix free?
Yes, you can start on the free version. Some layouts and features sit behind a hopp plan, and you might see a free trial depending on what Wix is offering at the time.
Can I use Hopp if I’m not a full-time creator?
Absolutely. It’s great for businesses too. It’s basically a link hub that helps organise your online presence without needing a whole new website page.
Where should I share my Hopp link?
Instagram is the obvious one, but it also works well on LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and even Twitter if you still use it and your audience hangs out there.
What should I put at the top of the page?
One main action. Book, enquire, buy, subscribe. Make it obvious what you want people to do.
How many links is too many?
If you have to scroll for ages, it’s too many. Start with 4 to 7 actions and only add more if it genuinely helps.
Does Hopp update automatically?
It can, depending on what you add. The “latest blog” style card is a good example. Publish a new post and your Hopp page can reflect it without you redoing everything.
Do I need a custom domain?
No. A custom domain is a nice-to-have, not a must-have. Start simple, prove it works, then decide if you want to tidy the domain side later.
Who is this best for?
Creators, content creators, service businesses, and yes, fashion bloggers too. If you post regularly and want one tidy link that covers everything, it’s a good fit.

Hopp by Wix helps followers find the right thing fast, and it can keep your link in bio fresh as you publish new content.
